Why We Built Notow

The idea for NoTow came out of pure frustration. Many years ago, when I was living in an apartment, my car was unnecessarily towed—part of a scheme between apartment managers and the tow truck company. It was infuriating and costly, and I couldn’t help but think there had to be a way to prevent it from happening again.

That’s when inspiration struck: a motion sensor that could instantly notify me if my car was being moved. The goal became clear—to create a device that not only stops unnecessary towing but also helps protect against car theft. And that’s how NoTow started.
